How to apply press-on nailsUpdated 8 days ago

After you have found your perfect fit, it's important to prep your nails to give you the best base for your press-on manicure. Follow these steps to get the best, long-lasting results:

  1. Shape: Trim and shape your natural nails so that the press-ons sit nicely and cover your nail beds fully.
  2. Buff: Lightly buff the surface of each nail using the nail file provided.
  3. Prep: Use the prep pad to give your nails a good wipe.
  4. Push: Gently push back your cuticles with the wooden stick provided. This helps ensure the press-ons sit evenly and securely.

For long-term wear (up to 14 days):

  1. Apply a dot of glue to both your natural nail and the back of the press-on.
  2. Use the glue nozzle tip or the wooden stick provided to spread the glue evenly across your nail and the press-on.
  3. Wait 5 seconds for the glue to get a little tacky.
  4. Line up the press-on at a 45° angle, starting at the cuticle.
  5. Press down firmly and hold for 30-60 seconds.

For short-term wear (up to 7 days) - nail glue:

  1. Apply a thin strip of glue down the centre of your natural nail and one small dot of glue either side of the strip.
  2. Line up the press-on at a 45° angle, starting at the cuticle.
  3. Press down firmly and hold for 30-60 seconds.

For short-term wear (up to 7 days) - adhesive tabs:

  1. Match the tab to your nail size using the numbers of the back of the nail tip and apply it on to your natural nail.
  2. Slide the press-on onto the natural nail with the tab applied.
  3. Press down and hold for 30 seconds.

Avoid trapping moisture or bubbles underneath the gel during application. Monitor the gels for any lifting or indication of bubbles or trapped moisture during wear (and remove them if it occurs or if there's any pain or discomfort).
